Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have the inflatable on concrete?

We do not inflate units on hard standing. However, we can place units inside venues such as halls, we will use the required number of sand bags and safety mats. All outside unit hires need to be sited on a grassy area so we can drive stakes into the ground to secure anchorage to hold the unit in place.

Do you provide inflatables for schools and village fetes?

Yes we do. There are two options:

1) You can hire the equipment from us and you provide responsible adults to man the unit throughout your event, all of your takings are then yours to keep.

2) We also offer a manned service, were we provide an inflatable unit and our experienced staff will run it; we will then give you a 25% share of the profit. Please see our 'fundraising scheme' page for more information.

Are you insured?

Yes we hold full, 5 million liability insurance. A copy can be obtained on request in advance of your booking. Our public liability insurance covers accidents which were our fault, such as equipment failure or failing to install a unit properly. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision of the unit and equipment, and the supervision of people using it, at all times. You will be asked to sign a hire agreement upon delivery of the unit. Any damage to any of the unit is payable by the hirer. It is advisable the home-ownwer arrange suitable insurance themselves.

Bad Weather/Deposits?

In case of slight rain most of our inflatable's come with shower covers. Inflatable's cannot be used in heavy rain or high winds, if the weather looks likely to fail, we will contact you in advance of your event, to discuss options. We would also encourage you to contact us the day before your hire if you wish to cancel the booking due to the weather, if we deliver the unit and inflate it, the hire fee is payable. We do not take deposits to secure bookings for this reason.

What's the earliest and latest we can have an inflatable?

We can deliver units from 8.00am and collect units up until dusk, depending on what time of year we are in. We do not collect after dusk due to health and safety.

When can I book?

Please book when you know the date of your event, bouncy castles businesses get booked up quickly during the warmer months of the year. If you can give as much notice as possible it helps us out. However if you need a last minute booking we would be happy to help. We have in the past sent units out the same day for hire. Please contact us if you find yourselves needing a unit at the last minute.

How much access do you need to get the unit to my garden?

Inflatable's are heavy pieces of equipment and need to be moved on sack trolleys, so we need clear access for this (at least 3ft). Make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles. We carry 25m extension cables so you should let us know if your power supply is further than this. You should also check that the area is free of debris, and clear up after any animals that you have had in your garden. We reserve the right to cancel any hire should access to the site be unsuitable.

How do I pay?

Our terms of business are strictly CASH

BACS Payments are accepted in advance of the booking

Can we move the inflatable once it is up?

No, once the inflatable is sited by our staff you cannot move the unit, you will invalidate your insurance. You risk injury to yourselves and risk damage to the unit.

How long do you need to set-up and take down a bouncy castle?

It takes between 20 and 30 minutes to set up a bouncy castle and about 15 to 20 minutes to take it down. Small units take less time, some units such as rainbow maze and slides take slightly longer.
